We heard from Terry Monday night 5-2-99. He was in La Paz, staying at an affordable motel ($14 a day)for a few days (civilization). He plans to be in La Paz for about a week, there is a big Cinco de Mayo celebration going on that he thinks sounds fun. He says he's still having fun camping but enjoys the inexpensive restaurants when he's in a town. He has been surfing a lot in the last couple of weeks, over on the Pacific side, hanging out with some surfers. Said he actually knew somebody he ran into over there. They were on a beautiful beach, and rented palapas to sleep in for $3 a nite.

Terry T asked him how the fishing lures they gathered together were working, and Terry said they are working well, especially the "crocodile" -- catching bass and a lot of good eating fish. Planning to kayak to De Spirito Sanctus Islands next week. Terry said he plans to head back after he gets back from kayaking to the islands. Probably will hit So. California in about two weeks. He's still having a good time, meeting lots of good people. Adios.
